Netley Marsh Solar Array

We planned to develop a small ground based solar farm in the grounds of Carlton House, part of the Ramboll offices in Netley Marsh, near Totton.

The electricity generated from the project would have been enough to supply all the electricity needed by Ramboll for their offices. It would also reduce CO2 emissions in the New Forest National Park.

Unfortunately we have had to suspend work on this project as it has proved not to be economically viable at this time under current funding and planning regimes.

New main water supply for the new Pennington allotments

West Solent Solar Cooperative helped fund the new mains water supply to the new community allotments in Pennington, close to our solar farm.

Anthony Woolhouse (WSS Director), the mayor of Lymington & Pennington town Council Ann Corbridge, and children from the local nursery.

We gave a grant to the allotment which was created by Gill Hickman, a member of New Forest Transition.

It was a very wonderful occasion.
