As part of the planning process we engaged Idigo Landscape Architects of Salisbury to produce a comprehensive landscape design complete with our planting plans which we are putting in place to improve the biodiversity of the field.
These include a new hedge all around the site to act as a wildlife corridor, planting wild flower meadows throughout the 12 acre site and hence providing a wonderful environment for the bees we will be putting on the site. The security fence on the plans will probably now be a deer fence. This will exclude land based predators and hence make a much safer environment within the fenced area for nesting and foraging birds.
