2021 Sheep Grazing Season has now started

The sheep and lambs arriving on the solar field on Good Friday. They will be grazing the grass over the next 5-6 weeks and helping to keep the tall weeds down so they don’t shade the solar panels in the summer. As well as providing a valuable low carbon weed mowing service, the sheep also contribute to the ecology of the site by spreading wild flower seeds around the site, which their hooves tread into the soil.
